This pre-registration MSc is designed to provide sports scientists and relevant degree holders with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a qualified sports therapist. You will study the theories which underpin the practical application of sports therapy. You will have access to the University's specialist resources and be able to draw on the considerable expertise of our sport and health academics to further hone your knowledge. |

Entry Requirements: Applicants should either have at least a second class honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science or other cognate degree subject; or at least a second class honours degree in a non-cognate subject supported by evidence of an aptitude for the subject applied for, or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment. Applicants for this course are not usually interviewed. Therefore, it is important you demonstrate evidence of the following in your personal statement: - An understanding of the scope of practice of a Sport Therapist
- Evidence of prior learning in sports and exercise science
- Evidence of excellent communication skills
- Evidence of self-directed study
- Evidence of the ability to work as part of a team
- Evidence of the ability to integrate information & skills across different subject areas
- Evidence of recent personal/academic development (normally within the past 5 years)
